This year transhumance is to be held during the Spring school holidays from April 12 to 16 from Rocamadour to Luzech. Book your original accomodation at les Hauts d’Albas so that you can walk with the herd on daily stages of 13km.<\/p>\n

The pleasure of hiking at the pace of the sheep<\/strong><\/h3>\n

From your upscale lodge and after a nice breakfast brought to your modern yurt, you can reach the starting point of each stage and follow the Lot sheep on a dozen kilometers, with compulsory picnic break in our beautiful regions of renowned local products! Know that a return shuttle to the starting point is available daily on site, registration before departure. Thus you can be sure to relax after such lovely strolls in stunning scenery and go soothe in the heated indoor pool just steps from your atypical and comfortable yurt.<\/p>\n

Get ready for your unusual holiday without being a super walker<\/strong><\/h3>\n

And for those who are not fans of walking but would like to see the herd, we\u2019ll give information about meeting places either on departure or arrival, and on the daily path of transhumance, providing itineraries and picnic points. This option will delight families with younger children not yet hikers, but also people with less mobility, everyone can make their own program by contacting us and discover the touristic treasures around the transhumance. We can talk about it at the terrace table of your unusual yurt before you go play pool or a game of petanque!<\/p>\n

And for gastronomes, unusual holidays at the rhythm of “farmers” meals<\/strong><\/h3>\n
